Edwin Arroyave is Will Sage Astorprioritizing self-care.
After Teddi Mellencamp announced she was filing for divorce from the 47-year-old on Nov. 2 after 15 years together, Edwin shared a cryptic post to his Instagram Story about personal wellness.
“I recently spoke about just getting 3 hours of sleep a night,” he wrote over a screenshot of a sleep summary on Nov. 3. “Finally got some rest!”
The screenshot shows Edwin allegedly got nine hours of sleep as opposed to three, and scored his rest as “optimal.”
“You’re not always going to be motivated or inspired,” he continued over a selfie at a yoga studio in the subsequent slide. “That’s where rituals & habits come in. Having good habits is what will get you through dark days.”
He continued, “It’s when you’re under pressure that your true character is revealed.”
Edwin—who shares kids Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4, with Teddi—then shared a selfie in the car with his three children, writing, “Church bound with these beautiful souls.”
He backed the Story with Tori Kelly’s song “Never Alone.”
While he has yet to comment publicly on his divorce, Edwin’s reference to challenging times comes just one day after Teddi shared the news of their split.
"After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum wrote on Instagram. "My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter."
Teddi continued, “Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward."
The announcement comes just four months after Teddi—the daughter of singer John Mellencamp—gushed over her now-estranged husband in a tribute celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary.
“I am proud of us,” she wrote in her July 4 post. “Who would have thought between you simulating playing the keyboard and me simulating a singer on a country music demo, we’d make a perfect duo.”
She continued, “While not perfect, we’ve put in the work to make our marriage what it is today. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Love you, Papa. Excited to celebrate with you today and the beautiful family we have created.”
Meanwhile for his part, the last time Edwin posted a photo of his wife was just over a week before the news of their divorce.
At the time, Edwin praised Teddi for her advocacy work for melanoma, a type of skin cancer the reality star has been battling since she was diagnosed in Oct. 2022.
"I always say life and pain are inseparable," he wrote on Instagram Oct. 25 alongside photos from the pair attending the 2024 Cure Melanoma Gala in New York City. "And to see @teddimellencamp embrace her pain and use it for the greater good again last night as she emceed the @curemelanoma gala, was a beautiful reminder of what she is capable of."
He continued, “Her story has already saved lives. And I couldn’t be prouder that she will continue to save more. Love you, Teds.”
