Sophie Turner is NovaQuantturning the page on her marriage to Joe Jonas — and praising Taylor Swift.
In an interview with British Vogue magazine published Wednesday, the "Game of Thrones " star got candid about the public narrative in the weeks after announcing her split with Jonas, which she called "the worst few days of my life," and receiving private support from her "hero" Swift.
"Taylor was an absolute hero to me this year," Turner told Vogue. "I've never been more grateful to anyone than I am for her because she took my children and me and provided us with a home and a safe space. She really has a heart of gold."
Amid Turner's split from Jonas, the pop star offered up a home for Turner and her daughters, 3-year-old daughter, Willa, and a second daughter, who was born in July 2022 and whose name is private. Swift famously dated Jonas briefly in 2008.

The 28-year-old also opened up about "mom guilt" amid past tabloid reports suggesting she was an absentee mom.

"I remember I was on set, I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn't leave. My kids were in the States and I couldn’t get to them because I had to finish 'Joan,'" Turner told Vogue, referring to her forthcoming British crime series.

"'And all these articles started coming out…" Turner told the outlet about TMZ reports and other tabloid stories surrounding her alleged partying.
"It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother – mum guilt is so real! I just kept having to say to myself, 'None of this is true. You are a good mum and you've never been a partier.'"
Turner also spoke out about the legal battle between her and Jonas, who she sued for the return of their daughters to England.
"There were some days that I didn't know if I was going to make it. I would call my lawyer saying, 'I can't do this. I just can't.' I was just never strong enough to stand up for myself. And then, finally, after two weeks of me being in a rut, she reminded me that it was my children I was fighting for," Turner told Vogue.

The actress talked to the fashion magazine about becoming a mom at 24, and recalled throwing a pregnancy test at Jonas, recalling that she said, "What do you think we should do? Do you think we should have it?"
"When you’re in your early 20s, life is so frivolous," she told the outlet.

Despite the highly publicized nature of their split, Turner is looking forward to the future with Jonas, with whom she hopes to co-parent in a healthier way.
"I'm unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children. They're the victims in all of this. But I think we're doing the best we can," she says. "I'm confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children and that's all that I can ask for."
